About Us

When you hear “McDaniel Avocados ,” you think family. Established in 1944, McDaniel Fruit Company started when Rankin McDaniel Jr. and Katherine McDaniel planted the family’s first avocado acreage. As pioneers in the industry, they recognized the opportunity they had created and opened their own packing operation. Their sons, Rankin and Larry McDaniel assumed leadership roles in the early 70s and took the company to the industry prominence it has today. Now the third generation of the McDaniel family works tirelessly to preserve the company’s success and to grow its global footprint
